Online Services

In order to simplify the claims process, Mutual & Federal has categorised claims into two sections:
- Non-Motor Claims and
- Motor Claims

A non-motor claim may be submitted on-line, telephonically or by fax. In the event of a non-motor burglary or loss you may submit a claim directly over the Internet, using one of the relevant online claim forms. In certain cases, our "Fast Track" claim service will apply, where everything can be handled telephonically via your closest Mutual & Federal branch, and no claim forms or quotations will be required.

Downloadable motor claim forms are available that can be printed out and faxed to your closest Mutual & Federal branch. Motor claims at this point cannot be submitted online. Should your vehicle still be driveable, the contact details for our countrywide drive-in motor claim centres are provided, where motor claims can usually be settled on the spot.

The following online services can be found at www.mf.co.za  under the "Claims" button:

Non-Motor Claims: This category includes fast track claims, burglary claims, building claims (which includes burst geysers, storm, hail, flood damage, fire damage and glass breakage). Online claims can be submitted.

Motor Claims: This category includes motor accident claims, theft of motor vehicle, hijack claims and emergencies. No online claims can be submitted.

Claims Support: This section provides information about our additional support services available to assist you. These are our Legal Department, the Specialist Investigation Unit and the Recoveries and Third Party Claims division.

Emergency Claims: This section will advise you of what to do in an emergency.
