Since the opening of our first local branch in 1921, Old Mutual has had roots in Namibia for more than 80 years. Old Mutual Namibia offers a full range of financial services in Namibia, comprising private wealth accumulation (including retirement savings, and risk protection: life, disability and health insurance) and asset management (including unit trusts and portfolio management). Products are designed to provide superior value for money to customers, and the company strives at all times to offer responsive and efficient service levels and sound financial advice.
Customer access is provided through a choice of mediums' via intermediaries, by telephone, by electronic means, and through branches. Financial advice and education on personal finances are provided to customers through 200 employed financial advisers and more than 150 contracted independent financial advisers (brokers).

Group Schemes: is a specialist operation within the greater Old Mutual Group. There is strength in numbers. Old Mutual uses 'economies of scale' and spread risks to be able to provide low cost high value products to groups. We enter scheme agreements with staff associations and unions within the public and private sectors. Products are offered to individuals within these schemes, using group-based underwriting. This allows us to offer products with low minimum premiums.
