Life Insurance

The Group's life business is conducted principally by Old Mutual Life Assurance Company, (OMLAC), which provides life, disability, retirement savings and investment products for individuals and groups.

Old Mutual has one of the largest financial services distribution networks in Zimbabwe, with approximately 243 full-time and salaried agents and arrangements with more than 28 brokers as at June 2001.

Asset Management

Old Mutual Asset Managers provides a world class asset management service to Zimbabwe based clients via a focused range of products. The business is a leading fund manager in Zimbabwe whose clients include most of the large local institutions and the major multinationals represented in Zimbabwe.

Unit Trusts

The Group's Unit Trusts provides an exciting range of funds for investors seeking minimised risks and long-term capital appreciation.

Banking

The Group's banking business is conducted principally by Central Africa Building Society , (CABS).

Short-term Insurance

The Group's short-term insurance business is conducted principally by RM Insurance, in which the Group has a controlling interest and an effective economic interest of 51%. RM Insurance writes motor, fire, accident and engineering business.

RM Insurance distributes its products primarily through brokers and Old Mutual's full-time agents.
