SHAREHOLDER COMMUNICATION
We are committed to a process of continuing dialogue with our investors - we have maintained our policy of proactive communication, appropriate disclosure and transparency of information throughout the past year. After each results declaration and the resultant major corporate actions, we make appropriate contact with our investors and intermediaries and issue news releases and other materials, including electronic communications.
For interested parties, we post formal presentations, webcasts and transcripts on this website, subject to restrictions arising from the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000. Our share registrars - in the UK and each country where our shares are listed - offer comprehensive services to personal shareholders, to deal with specific requests that they may have. Old Mutual's brokers in each of the five markets where our shares are listed also maintain active communication with, and provide other services for, our shareholders.
Using a wide spectrum of internal and external communication channels, our Group strategy and performance are communicated to financial markets through our annual reports, news releases, transcripts and presentations. Frequently asked questions are posted on this website - we respond to many direct requests for information and also provide answers to specific queries. Our website offers a wide range of services for investors, which includes the share price, details of dividends, procedures for electing to receive communications electronically and other relevant data for shareholders.
Our board monitors matters with regard to investor relations closely and our executive directors participate fully in specific investor programmes on an international basis.
